| The 1200W SeaArc® 2 HMI® underwater luminaire is the highest performance light source for underwater imaging systems today. The 1200W SeaArc® 2 HMI® utilizes a 1200W Vapor Arc Discharge lamp providing for a near-daylight visible spectral output of light. The pressure housing is constructed of 6AL-4V titanium and quartz glass, which allows the luminaire to operate at a depth of 6,000 meters (20,000 feet). A 1200W Vapor Arc Discharge lamp produces more than 100,000 lumens of radiant light output, which is 4-1/2 times more efficient than that of conventional tungsten-halogen incandescent light sources. This light source is ideal for commercial lighting applications due to its high efficiency and continuous visible spectral output of light. The 1200W SeaArc® 2 HMI® luminaire’s pressure housing and endcap assembly are constructed from 6AL-4V titanium and the lamp is encapsulated in a quartz glass envelope. The endcap assembly incorporates two pressure relief valves for nitrogen purging and has an LPBH4MP connector. The 1200W SeaArc® 2 HMI® luminaire is available with three different optical configurations to satisfy different performance demands. The high intensity of light emission is controlled and directed with three types of reflectors: wide, medium, and spot. |
