Under Pressure evaluates structural capabilities, deflections, and weights of common pressure vessel geometries such as cylindrical tubes, spheres, as well as hemispherical, conical, flat circular, and flat annular end enclosures.

What's new?
Under Pressure 4.50 is a technical update to the popular Under Pressure design tool produced and distributed by DeepSea Power & Light.  The new version no longer requires a security dongle and is offered as a free download to the community.  UPWin 4.50 uses Microsoft's newest SQL Server Express so users can safely upgrade their computers to Windows 2000 or Windows XP without common database issues.  UPWin 4.50 uses the legacy project files so you can begin using Under Pressure with your current projects.  UPWin 4.50 does ship with a new database so be sure to apply any customizations you may have performed on previous Under Pressure versions before opening your project files.    

What's required?
Before installing Under Pressure 4.50 insure Sql Server Express 2005 is installed and functioning properly on your computer.
Use Microsoft's installation defaults when loading SQL Server 2005 Express Edition.

Once you have verified the requirements are properly installed you are ready to download
UPWin 4.50. Unzip the files into a working directory then run setup.exe to install UPWin 4.50 on your computer.
